Vanessa Smith was last seen on New Year’s Eve, December 31st, 1990. She had gone out to celebrate the New Year at the Ambassador Hotel on 2308 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Milwaukee, WI.
Vanessa was reported missing on July 25, 1991, when her aunt reported her missing.
Vanessa's former boyfriend was arrested and detained for questioning. He stated that he last saw Vanessa on January 1st, 1991 when she was calling a cab company. He said that he walked her to the exit of his apartment building, but did not see Vanessa get into the cab or catch the name of the cab company or what it looked like.
Vanessa has never been seen or heard from again.
Vanessa is an African American woman, 5’1”, and 130 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and is known to wear light-colored wigs. She has scars on her face, abdomen, left eye, left finger, lip, and neck.
Vanessa has been known to travel to California. Her maiden name is Blacks.
There is very little information available in her case.
Vanessa was 34 years old when she went missing. She would be 65 years old today.
