Unsolved Case - Rae Elaine Tourtillott

Rae Elaine Tourtillott was last seen on October 15th, 1986 on the Menominee Indian Reservation.


Rae was an enrolled member of the Menominee Indian Tribe. On October 15th, 1986, she was seen by multiple individuals attending a birthday party on the Menominee Reservation with five of her friends. Once the party ended, Rae was picked up in a vehicle by two people.


Rae was last seen alive after she exited the vehicle near the Tomow Overlook off of Old South Branch RD on the Menominee Indian Reservation. She was reported missing the next day.


On April 9th, 1987, Rae’s body was recovered in a swampy wooded area by Menominee Tribal Police and the FBI. Rae was 18 years old.


The FBI and the Menominee Tribe of Indians are offering up to a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her death.


Rae’s case remains open and unsolved.
