I am Connie Gillis, daughter of David C. Dodge, missing since 4/2/1983 from

Frederic, Wisconsin. My dad has been missing for 37 years, he is one of the long

term missing cases.

I felt alone for 34 of those years, not knowing anyone who shared this

experience. Then one day in fall of 2017, I made a comment on a FB post of a

missing person from another state. One of the WMPA board members also

commented that there was a Missing Persons group in Wisconsin and she gave

me the information. I broke down and cried knowing I was going to have contact

with others that were going through the same thing.

It's only been three years and this wonderful group is like family to me. Feels like

I've known them a life time. I was very honored when I was asked to be on the

board of directors in August of 2020. I hope to help give the missing a voice and

raise awareness to this tragic event in many families lives.
