Namrud is an African American man, 5’10”, and 150 pounds. He has gray/partially gray hair, a white beard, and brown eyes. He has an unknown tattoo on his left hand.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark colored flannel, and no shoes.
He may answer to Namrud, Wegahta, or Rudy.
Namrud was last seen on foot near a wooded area near the Maple Grove Mobile Home Park in Mercer, Wisconsin on October 22nd, 2023. He left behind his vehicle and personal items.
Family members have traveled to Wisconsin from across the country to help in the search for Namrud. The family is working with the Lac Du Flambeau Police Department and the Iron County Sherriff’s Office.
According to his family, he was in the area on a ‘spiritual journey’ based on his recent interest in Native American culture and traditions. His family said it's unusual for Namrud to not be in contact with them.
According to the Iron County Sherriff’s Office, Namrud is not considered dangerous and has no history of violence. He is described as a loving, spiritual, and a caring man by his family.
Namrud is originally from Rochester, New York and is not familiar with this area.
Despite extensive ground searches that have been conducted, Namrud remains missing.
Namrud is 46 years old.
