Missing Since August 10, 2018
In early August 2018, 54-year-old Benjamin Bodwin asked family and friends to give him space so he could privately grieve his wife's recent death. He checked in with his family a few days later to let them know he was spending time in Door County, Wisconsin, and Kohler, Wisconsin.
Later in August his vehicle became inoperative while he was in the town of Athlestane, Wisconsin and he stated to a witness that he would need to leave his car in the parking lot of a gas station until it could be fixed. Benjamin was last seen purchasing alcohol and walking north on a county road in that area on August 10, 2018.
Benjamin does have a history of substance abuse and he may be recognizable by needle marks found in either arm. He has three unknown tattoos located on his upper left arm, left shoulder and left hand. He has brown hair and green eyes and wears thin-rimmed glasses. He is 6'4" and weighs 225 pounds.
